Nice hotel in a nice part of Glasgow
Rooms were spacious and clean, tidy and furniture not dated looking. Customer service is top notch, we felt very looked after. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance and also the Kelvinbridge subway station 5 mins walk away, accessible by crossing road or by going down an underpass which goes through a river under the bridge - a very pleasant, scenic walk. This is actually quite a nice part of Glasgow. There is street parking outside the hotel - pay by meter or app, not very cheap, but it is outside the LEZ zone so very helpful for us without a LEZ-compliant car. Rooms didn't have aircon but had high ceilings and there was a fan provided which was sufficient as the room just never got very warm, just right. We had dinner at Paesano Pizza which is a few mins walk away from the hotel - very nice Italian style pizzas. Great night sleep and perfect location and service
I was very happy with my stay. Stayed for TRNSMT festival and it was spot on. I walked too and from which was good as plenty of bars on the way to break up the journey. Location was great lots of places to eat and drink Room was better than my expectations bed was comfy and slept really well both nights As a big lad the bathroom was deceptively large and shower area was a good size. Very pleasant stay!

A great base for a Glasgow break
Excellent staff, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This hotel is a great place for to stay on a long weekend visit. It's a couple of minutes walk from the Kelvinbridge underground stop so we didn't need to touch our car for the duration of our stay. Parking is on street, but it's free from 6pm Friday to 8am Monday Breakfast was good, with a cold buffet and cooked options. Best place to stay in Glasgow
The Albion is a fantastic cute little hotel situated in a great vibrant but quiet area with great connections to the rest of the city due to it being right next to Kelvinbridge Subway station. The staff is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with great bathroom and shower, for a very fair and reasonable price. Wonderful option in the West End of Glasgow
This hotel fit the bill perfectly for us - well located for all our expeditions around Glasgow, near enough to the subway, restaurants and pubs, but on a quiet street. Convenient and good location

This is an independent hotel.  It is simply furnished but very clean.  The room, bed linen and bathroom were all spotless.  The breakfast room was very clean.  The two front of house ladies were exactly as other reviewers have said - friendly, helpful and a credit to the establishment. This hotel is in such a clutch location 😍♥️📍🗺️! It is a 10 minute walk to Ashton Lane and Byers Rd which offer excellent nightlife, great restaurants and (Ashton Lane in particular) pedestrian, cobble stone roads that allows you to get away from the smell and sound of traffic. You can stay out late and walk home feeling very safe in this hip, university student-populated neighborhood.

The hotel rooms themselves were also excellent. Ours was on the first floor and had giant 12ft ceilings, a king sized bed, picture windows, an ensuite, and an option for breakfast. The woman who checked us in was so lovely and helpful as well.

Great value for your money and highly recommend 🍻.

PS. The Kelvinbridge subway stop is literally at the end of this street and made it so easy to scoot downtown and connect to the Glasgow railway. We were so impressed with this small and efficient subway line 👍🏼

Sweet little hotel close to the subway. Clean and comfy. Front desk was friendly, and even sent a text message checking on us. Which does not happen with bigger hotels and chains. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy the perks of city center, but don’t want to stay amongst it. Subway easily accessible. No elevators, but stairs give it charm. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Glasgow.
