Excellent location Excellent location, friendly staff, great breakfast, good rooms and handy parking outside (even with meter). Ticks all the boxes and offers discounts for return stays and I will hopefully be back some time soon. Close to great western road with pubs and restaurants and subway across the road.

Warm and welcoming We stayed recently while attending a graduation at the university. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were spotless.

Great Hotel close to all transport. I stayed here with my mum as its very central to to the city center, the underground is across the road, lots of buses also at the end of the road . It was recommended to us by a friend who has stayed there several times . Its a really lovely hotel , recently been updated , great breakfasts . Lovely friendly staff who were very helpful especially the receptionist who has worked there a long time . Also another staff member who was helping out as she usually works in one of the owners other hotels. The housekeepers were nice polite and friendly. Would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends .

Klare Empfehlung meinerseits! 👍

Repeat visitor, says it all really.Cheers. Both receptionists are very warm, friendly ladies who give an excellent first impression of the Albion, very important I feel.Am a regular guest now and have future bookings as well, which says it all really.Beds are really comfortable and the showers are superb.Really near the bus stops to and from the city centre and although next to the Great Western Road, traffic cannot be heard from the rooms. The GWR is superb for choice of places to eat and very near the Botanic Gardens and walks along the Kelvin River.

Another comfortable stay in The Albion Hotel. I stayed at The Albion last year and was delighted to repeat the experience again. It’s an ideal place to stay if you want to be in a strategically good base. It’s near local transport, good restaurants, shops and bars, plus the beautiful Kelvingrove park and Art Galleries. Staff are very helpful and friendly, rooms clean, modern and comfortable. Without a doubt I’ll be here again for my annual visit to Glasgow in 2024. Thank you!

Perfect location for Glasgow city break Just had a lovely weekend staying at the Albion - picked for proximity to Glasgow University. Parking out front was plentiful and free at weekend. Stones throw to subway couple of mins away off Great western road with lots of restaurants, making everywhere in Glasgow easily accessible. Quiet location - lovely quad room with double and 2 single. Comfortable beds with quality cotton linen and spotless ensuite with plentiful hot water and towels. We were on 3rd floor - no lift which was fine for us but may be an issue for some (req ground floor) Windows open which is nice is hot weather and overlook trees opposite. Lovely full Scottish breakfast made to order in morning 7.30-9.30 prompt service. Diane on reception and breakfast was very welcoming and friendly - would definitely stay again when in Glasgow.

Above my expectation - but I was lucky in getting one of the best rooms! For a budget hotel, the room, facilities and cleanliness were good. It was very conveniently sited close to bus and subway routes, but in a quiet road overlooking the river Kelvin. I would certainly book it again.

You cannot beat a stay at the Albion Hotel for price/quality ratio in the West End of Glasgow. On top of that, Diane on front desk is the friendliest and most welcoming person you could hope to meet. See you again in November!

Comfortable, clean & well-maintained, nicely decorated and in a very good location near transport, shops, restaurants & bars. Close to the University, easy to get to the Kelvingrove and West End. Staff were very friendly & helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I've stayed twice and each time the Albion has been a major positive aspect of the trip.
