For an amazing way of seeing our great city and an exhilarating day out you can take one of the many great trips on the Clyde via powerboat! Powerboats Glasgow have many excursions and are only 15 minutes away from the Albion Hotel.

From The Powerboats Glasgow base at the Science Centre travel swiftly up the river Clyde to the City of Glasgow College. As we cruise back down the river as far as the Govan Shipyards with a guide providing detailed information about the city’s history, infrastructure, economy and culture.

Viewing the city from the comfort of the fast and exciting powerboat is a unique and thrilling experience. However, don’t worry, the boats are perfectly safe for all ages as they have had people as young as 2 years old and as old as 92 years old enjoy some of the tours available.

The Boat can also be hired privately For personal days, Weddings or corporate events. You book the whole boat to yourself, whether you are going solo or as a group of 10.

There are plenty of tours to choose from depending on route/location. The full Boat seats 10 passengers.

Doughnut Run;
A fast blast from Pacific Quay to Braehead in our RIB where you will enjoy a 20% discount at Krispy Kreme!

3pm – 4pm, £15pp or £150 for whole boat.

City Sightseer;
Our amazing one hour Sightseer tours takes you from the top of the Clyde down to the Govan shipyards.

2pm – 3pm, £25pp or £200 for whole boat.

Bridge Blast;
Let’s get out of the city to the Erskine Bridge for a wonderful view down the estuary.

4pm – 6pm, £45pp or £400 for whole boat.

Sundowner;
An enchanting evening on the River Clyde with our talented Skippers and Guides.

6pm – 7pm, £35pp or £240 for whole boat.

Rhu Run;
Fancy lunch and/or a pint at Rhu Marina? We’ll take you on a beautiful, unforgettable 4 hour trip.

10am – 2pm, £48pp or £500 for whole boat.
