09 Oct NYE Special Offer!
New Year, New Offer
Hogmanay – or New Year’s Eve to the rest of the world – is a particularly special time for us Scots. We’re proud to say we can host some of the best parties on the planet with our unique blend of loving a chat with a stranger, belting bagpipes and passion for a good swally (Scottish for drink). Edinburgh’s Hogmanay on Princes St gets all the hype, we know that, but if it’s a local-style party you’re looking for, Glasgow is the answer to your prayers.
Our hotel – the Albion – is set on the banks of the River Kelvin and is perfectly situated for guests hoping to make the most of the city at this time of year. Plus, staying with us won’t break the bank. We’re offering a fantastic 10% discount on all rooms for those staying at our three-star residence on December 31st. It can be difficult to secure accommodation at this time of year, and with this deal we expect rooms to fill up quickly, so go online to our website to book direct, receive your discount and confirm your stay. Simply fill out the online booking form and enter the code NEWYEAR before payment is taken, and your rate will automatically be reduced.
Clubs and bars haven’t yet released the specifics for New Year Eve functions, but we know where’s best to go if you want to make like a local. George Square hosts a party until 10pm so take a wander into the city centre and soak up the atmosphere early. Start the evening off with a drink at Glasgow favourite, Hutchesons, right next to the festivities, then head back to the West End for a night of fun at the Oran Mor. It’s just a five-minute walk from our hotel and, whilst their Hogmanay events are ticketed, they’re well worth the price. Often, you’ll be treated to a three-course dinner featuring Scottish classics, plus a glass of fizz and you can polish it off with a whisky toast and traditional Ceilidh dancing.
There are a huge range of options for a Hogmanay to remember in Glasgow so make sure you book early through the Albion Hotel website to receive your 10% discount and then let the planning commence!
