Right now, read on to see how you can make the most of your time in Glasgow!

Hit the Slopes – in Spring!

Real snow in Glasgow all year round? Yes, it’s true! Intu Braehead’s Snow Factor provides the powder 365 days a year so get your skis on and get on piste. If not everyone in your party is a fan of the winter sport, you could always practice your après-ski efforts at Barvaria, the dedicated drinking hole on-site for all those who’d rather their ice was in a glass than underfoot! Snow Factor’s coaching team offer private lessons so there’s no better time to have a bash as a beginner, even if it’s not quite the season for snow!

Say Hello to a Heffer

This one’s for the little people in your life as Pollock Park (Glasgow’s biggest country park) hosts family fun over the Easter period, with activities set to delight all ages. On selected dates throughout April you’ll find spring-themed crafting sessions in progress as well as a faery village tour, garden talk, Cadbury’s Easter egg hunt and behind-the-scenes stable visits… phew, we’re tired out already! Refresh yourselves at the country house café then splash out on a slap-up Easter dinner to unwind post-adventure.

Kelvingrove Museum Strikes Again

Always a favourite amongst families, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum doesn’t disappoint once again. It’s a swashbuckling themed Easter this year with little pirates able to take to the Seven Seas by creating their own ship in a bottle, taking part in an Easter egg hunt and even having a go at pirate-centered craft activities. The events will be held on various dates throughout Easter and for more information check out their website.

Shop till You Drop

Okay, not strictly Easter-themed but what’s a break away if there’s not a little something in it for you? Glasgow is Edinburgh’s lesser known cousin when it comes to shopping reputations, but we think it’s often hugely undersold. You’ll find the longest shopping street in Britain smack-bang in the centre of town, along with high-end brands nestled in the opulent Princes Mall and even designer stores like Armani and Hugo Boss – what more could you want? Take time out for an Easter Sunday lunch at Hutchesons, along with a glass of fizz or two – pure bliss.
